Bluewaters Island is a Meraas-developed destination just off the JBR coastline, best known as the home of Ain Dubai, the world's tallest observation wheel. Unlike the high-rise towers of neighbouring Dubai Marina, the island consists mostly of low- and mid-rise premium buildings with floor-to-ceiling glazing. Most apartments open onto sweeping views of the sea, the JBR skyline or the wheel itself, which makes window treatments a central part of every interior here.

Bluewaters Residences comprises ten mid-rise buildings (Building 1 to Building 10) with 698 glass-fronted apartments and penthouses, plus 17 waterfront townhouses — and we make curtains for every layout on the island. The newer Bluewaters Bay towers are still under construction, with orders taken as handovers begin. For the Residences' signature coved ceilings we recommend recessed or ceiling-mounted tracks that preserve the floating-ceiling lighting effect, paired with full-height sheers and blackout layers sized precisely to each window bay.

Bluewaters' marine setting brings intense reflected sunlight off the water, salt-laden air and high summer humidity. We recommend fade-resistant fabrics: high-density blackout for bedrooms facing east or west, light-filtering dimout for living areas, and durable linen-look or polyester-blend sheers that hold their shape in humid conditions. UV-stable linings protect both the fabric and your furniture from the strong Gulf sun without blocking the island views.

Panoramic glazing in Bluewaters apartments often spans the full width of the living room, so motorised tracks are a practical choice rather than a luxury. Quiet motors handle wide, heavy curtain spans with one touch, integrate with smart-home systems and can follow sun-protection schedules, closing sheers during peak afternoon heat. For townhouses we also install motorised solutions on double-height windows that are difficult to reach manually.
